Curtailment Services & Demand Response

EIS works with buildings to establish individualized schedules to earn money through curtailment incentive programs of the New York State Independent Systems Operator, which pays buildings to reduce electricity demand when supplies are strained.  EIS projects earnings, presents recommendations to boards and management, formulates a curtailment strategy, links client buildings in high-yield purchasing aggregations and manages monthly ISO payments.

Energy Purchasing Recommendations

EIS establishes an ongoing energy auditing and tracking system to review prices and costs incurred for all energy sources.  EIS analyzes trends in cost and consumption, compares current costs against the market norm, and recommends changes in vendor and purchase agreements. EIS can develop hedging arrangements to protect a building against price escalation and volatility.
